Flim Blog

In my media storm class run by Scott we are assigned to make a documentary or a film. The film that decided to make along with my group is the Difference In Communication. The film will be about how social media and technology affect today relationships. what me and my group is trying to prove is the social media is bad for relationships. What made me want to do a film on this subject was the fact that I'm a teen eighteen years old and i go on face book almost every day. There have been a lot of break ups taking place in people's relationships  because of face book or twitter and other social networks. I am going to explore this in the film by interviewing two couples one. one couple will be young in there teens and the other will be a couple is form the 90s around the time when technology was not as advance as it is today. After  the teen couple had been interviewed they would have to go a day or two with out the social media and text they we have to see how it felt being a couple in the 90s.

Lizzy and Gio are two student and fellow friends of mines in my class. They are in a relationship together they are the teen couple we are interviewing. Lizzy and Gio are on face book all the time so i thought they would be the perfect couple for the film. when we interview them they had describe there feeling about the social media and how it had interfered with there relationship. We haven't interviewed the old couple yet but we will son the couple will be D'vante parents

iMovie Blog

In the iMovie work shop Kwan showed us how to edit videos and how to use visualle affect and audio affect. The iMovie work peronally taught me that you don't need a whole clas on how to edit a video, you just need the right tools. the video i up loaded  from the iMove workshop is a video of me resiteing a rap i wrote a few days ago. If you can see the visuall affect, i have chaned it to look like a cartoon; the audio affect is change on musical audo tune. I am thankful for the work shop because i have learn a lot about editing a video, you don't need to be a genius to do it.

Cinematograghy Blog

The cinematography workshop with Arirana  shows a film of a interview of a rapper. The film show the child hood till adult hood. The interview was different then other it was deeper then others, the film producer really did a good job capturing the emotions of the documentary. The film also showed the different type of shots you can take with a camera like B roll static and B roll non static. I learned not to always keep the camera on the persons face because that makes the video boring. The best thing to do is to capture some good back ground  photo and the music has to match the mood of the documentary.
