Reasarch Qeustion : What is the divorce rate of 2000-2012, does technology play a role in relationships

"More than 90 percent of America's top divorce attorneys said they have seen a spike in the number of cases using evidence from i Phones and other smart phones in the past three years, according to the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (A.A.M.L)." This some info i found on my question.

The divorce rate in America is more than 50%, which means one in two couples will break up.  


These are some quotations I found from some article  on divorce . i'm looking for the answer for my research question ,what is the divorce rate of 2000-2012, does technology play a role in relationships. I chose this qeustion because I thought the divorce rate is a great way to see how relationship are affect by technology and social network. The research show me that the divorce is raise as the year go on, the divorce rate was not that high in the 90s but it has continue to grow in 2000-2011. i will continue to do research  to find out why is the divorce rate always raise  and dose technology and social networking causeing

The film I am making is called the difference in communication, this film will explain how social media or technology can have a bad affect on relationships in these days. Me and my group chose this topic to explore because there has been a lot of bad relationship and break ups , and it seems that face book has been the blame. I have also been seeing that most men and women have be caught cheating  by the text they have had saved, It happens a lot on divorce court. I want to explore why and how was relationships in the early 90's and see did the relationships back then last longer.  From my research I see that in 2000-2012 the rate of divorces has increased a lot so I to explore why what is it that has relationships  ending so fast .
